Introduction

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To prospect and procure new business to achieve company’s targeted revenue growth.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  1. Achieve new business targets as per budget for all classes of General Insurance
  2.  Development and implementation of relationship management strategies and
  3. partnerships for corporate businesses within their portfolio
  4. Identify and execute growth opportunities within corporate and individual portfolio
  5. Drive the cross-selling of AAR products within existing business

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  1. Prospect and procure proposals on lives of persons conforming to Company
  2. guidelines as might be enforced from time to time;
  3. Fact find, qualify prospects and respect client’s confidentiality;
  4. Operate under the guidance of his Manager or any authorized officer of the
  5. Company;
  6. Make accurate and truthful presentations in persuading clients to take out general
  7. insurance policies;
  8. Deliver policy documents to clients within 30 days from date received from
  9. operations and explain the benefits to the clients;
  10. Keep clients interest uppermost while rendering prompt and sincere services to them
  11. and their dependants;
  12. Keep adequate and relevant records in accordance with clause 10(a) of their
  13. contract;
  14. Improve his knowledge of insurance through constant study;
  15. Work consistently and according to a program;
  16. Strictly adhere to all laws and regulations and observe them in letter and spirit.
  17. To attend all training organized by the Company
  18. Provide feedback/report on targeted monthly growth on the new business to the
  19. Business Development Manager.
  20. Follow up on service queries, organize and attend monthly service meetings with
  21. corporate clients
  22. Achieve on agreed targets on new revenue
  23. Follow up on all service queries for members and ensure resolution within 24 hours
  24. Ensure timely communication of company information with members.
  25. Dispatch of renewal proposals, policy documents, cards and other company
  26. communication as per agreed timelines
  27. Schedule renewal meetings with corporate clients and drive renewal negotiations
  28. Schedule and participate in quarterly health education activities with corporate clients
  29. Receive and dispatch client documents and monitor receipts
  30. Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
